Me Talking About Myself
Resident of Knoxville, TN. Married my beloved Joe in 1985 and we were blessed with Nicole, born in 1987. Currently have four felines that think everything is all about them!
I put the sketch of my photo on the left so you could see me the way my family does 90% of the time! They're not sure what I look like from my forehead down HA!
Web Design Began
It began with me saying "I'll never!". I thought HTML was for the birds and said I'd never go there. One day around 2005 I found myself searching information on html markup (originally created by scientists to communicate with one another) then built my first website, but using software instead of hand-coding. Someone asked me about doing their site, then I was doing freebies. After quitting a part-time job and letting go of the ones I was maintaining for free earlier part of 2011 I was waiting to see what God wanted me to do next. Two months later Denaé, owner of Design By Denae, Original Artisan Jewelry, phoned and I knew God was leading me back into web design. She was my first customer and has been instrumental in referrals.
These last six years I have learned much about HTML, CMS, CSS, Java Script, XHTML, DHTML, PHP, SQL, ASP, flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc. I continue to self-teach, research and follow tutorials to stay up-to-date.
What's So Special About Me?
I offer my clients an extra personal experience when they choose to work with me. By using close and constant communication, friend-like relationships, and tailoring the design by client's requests, the final project is always a total reflection of them; their desires, tastes and needs. I code by hand, no templates here, it should be 100% easily customized and you just don't get that with templates. I put my all into every project, it's not a job, it's a passion!
